ACC Plan Consolidation

ACC Plan Participants: Your retirement and insurance plans are moving to RPB.

Starting January 1, 2027, you’ll have a new home for your retirement savings and LTD and life insurance needs to help protect your financial future.

What’s changing

Retirement

  • Your ACC 403(b) account balance will automatically transfer to your RPB 403(b) account.
  • If you have an ACC supplemental plan account, it will remain in place, but the plan will no longer accept new contributions after December 31.  Any future supplemental plan contributions will go into RPB’s Rabbi Trust plan (our supplemental plan).
  • RPB’s investment lineup will replace ACC’s for the 403(b) and supplemental plans. If you’re new to RPB, your account will initially be invested in the T. Rowe Price target date fund for your birth year.

Insurance

  • Starting in 2027, RPB’s long term disability (LTD) and life insurance plans will replace ACC’s, with more benefits. If you don’t have insurance through ACC today, you’ll have new opportunities to enroll.
  • If you have LTD or life insurance through ACC, your ACC coverage will end on December 31, 2026.

Visit the Insurance tab to learn more.

Support

  • You’ll contact RPB, instead of ACC, with questions about your retirement account(s) and insurance coverage after the transition is complete.
  • You’ll have access to RPB’s professional investment oversight, educational resources, and the MyRPB for Participants portal—your online hub for your retirement and insurance account information, with direct links to NetBenefits.

What’s staying the same

  • Your login. Both plans use Fidelity for recordkeeping, so you’ll keep using your existing NetBenefits username and password.
  • Employer and employee contributions. These continue unchanged under the same formula.
  • Loans and withdrawals. These continue on their existing terms.

What you need to do

Before January 1:

  • Review RPB’s full investment lineup and the target date fund for your birth year.
  • Confirm your mailing address and email are current in NetBenefits, so you don’t miss important updates. Contact the ACC office to make any changes before January 1.
  • LTD open enrollment begins December 1. If you have coverage through ACC, we’ll work with your employer to move your coverage to RPB’s LTD plan.

If you want coverage for the first time, contact your employer to enroll.

After January 1:

  • Log in to the MyRPB for Participants portal and review your retirement and life insurance beneficiaries.
  • Adjust your investments if the target date fund for your birth year isn’t the right fit for you.
  • Buy extra life insurance coverage without medical underwriting during the guaranteed-issue period from January 1 – April 30, 2027. Visit the Insurance tab for details.
